Lauren Malyon (AKA Lyon) opens this mix with her melancholy yet uplifting “Indian Summer.” This song’s perfect for the summer blues. We get a double dose of Garage from All About She, and Jonas LR’s great remix of my current fa’ve The 1975. Next, we hear two different takes on R&B—Kuma bringing a romantic remix while Redlight offers sexy and atmospheric vibes with “Thunder.” I always love hearing what Tokimonsta is up to, and this new remix of hers bangs—very different from her usual! I love that music isn't geologically restricted. The fact that Jersey Club made it’s way to Japan is amazing. Pa’s Lam System’s “Bit by Bit” goes hard. Andru and Bobby Tank wrap things up with strong melodies, drip-sounds, and unique percussion.

Hannah Diamond opens up this mix with a digital Internet cyber ballad. Next a track from the late Kid Atlaas, we lost an amazing talent this year. Next up Lucki Eck$ with the standout track from his Alternative Trap mixtape. Next is one of my favorite remixes from last year, a bit more brooding than the original. Couple genre-killers up next, first the always dark yet dank Druid Cloak, then a tropical-laden percussion track from Basenji. Earlier this year Trippy Turtle released all his songs for free on World Turtle Day, here's one of those Jersey goods. Relative newcomer CAPSUN comes through big on this journey of a Mindeless Behavior flip. Closing out the mix we have two hard slow heaters, first from Daktyl and the last from Flow-Fi newcomers Rvdical The Kid and MisterMack with an aptly titled 'Ethereal'.
A few years ago we started trading mixtapes as a fun way to share new (or old) songs that we thought our brother-from-another-mother (or sister-from-another-mister) might enjoy. It began with a simple set of parameters — 10 tracks and a title — and quickly* became this little site where we can share with the world the mixtapes we've shared with each other.
* This site was completed in under 24 hours on a chilly, winter evening warmed by the glows of our computers.
